Strategic initiatives
WYCUP ConneXion
This international networking series is where the world’s young credit union professionals come together to recognize that they are part of something bigger: a global cooperative movement.
Every session is unique in terms of the experience and countries in attendance. We connect in small diverse groups to talk about our goals, highlight successes, identify shared challenges and explore common solutions.
It's a great way to connect with peers and support one another. Our global diversity of experience is what makes us strong.
WYCUP Affiliates Council
This quarterly virtual gathering connects young professionals from financial cooperatives all over the world. We come together to highlight professional journeys and explore how financial cooperatives are empowering young employees and members around the world. It's a great place to get new perspectives on our shared challenges and consider opportunities for collaboration.
Participation is open to employees of financial cooperatives under 40 years of age and under.
World Credit Union Conference Scholarships
Since 2001, WYCUP has awarded more than 100 scholarships for an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the World Credit Union Conference, spotlighting professional journeys and engaging emerging leaders with our global movement.
International Youth Day
WYCUP members participate in International Youth Day on August 12 every year. Created by the United Nations in 1999, this program encourages young people from around the world to organize activities to raise awareness about the situation of youth in their country.
